Tours & Tickets
Entrance to Pearl Harbour is free and so are tickets to the Arizona Memorial. There are other paid activities and tours however, so here’s a guide explaining everything you need to know about getting tickets and visiting Pearl Harbour.

Tickets in Advance
You can book your Arizona Memorial tickets in advance online at www.recreation.gov or through Pearl Harbour’s call centre by dialling

Tickets only become available in advance during two periods:

• Within 2 months of your anticipated day

• 24 hours in advance of next-day tickets

For online tickets there are no refunds on the $1.50 “convenience fee” and a maximum purchase of 12 tickets.

Walk-in Tickets
Every day Pearl Harbour releases 1,300 free walk-in tickets to the Arizona Memorial upon opening at 7 a.m. on a first come first serve basis.

To get these free tickets, you must get to Pearl Harbour early, say around 6 a.m., wait in line, and upon entering Pearl Harbour’s main entrance you’ll go straight ahead to the ticket desks directly in front of you.

Your ticket will have an assigned time, and 15 minutes before your time you’ll need to wait at the designated area.
Tour Packages
Pearl Harbour offers three different tour packages, which are not to be confused with tour operators who offer their own Pearl Harbour tours.

Here are Pearl Harbour’s official in-house tour packages.

Arizona Memorial Tours
It’s free after securing tickets and includes a 23 minute video, a Navy shuttle boat to the Arizona Memorial, and the memorial itself.

Audio Headset Tour
Available for $7.50 and is the same as the Arizona Memorial tour, just with audio headset narration.

Pearl Harbour Passport Tour
Available for $72 for adults and $35 for children 4-12, the Passport package offers entrance to the:

• Arizona Memorial

• USS Bowfin Submarine Museum

• Battleship Missouri Memorial

• Pacific Aviation Museum

• The new Pearl Harbour Virtual Reality Centre

• Also includes the Audio Headset
Transportation
There are four main ways to get to Pearl Harbour:

• Self-Drive
• Taxi / Uber / Lift
• Public Bus
• Book a third party tour
• Driving is simple and takes around a half an hour from Waikiki.
• Taxis are around $40 each way and Uber is a bit cheaper.
• You can take bus 42 from Waikiki for $5.50 for a all day ticket ($2.50 for kids), which takes about an hour.

Useful Information

Restrooms
There are public restrooms at Pearl Harbour but not at the Arizona Memorial, which you’ll be at for an hour and 15 minutes.

Parking
There is plenty of free parking at Pearl Harbour.

Dresscode
Slippers / thongs are ok, but swimmers and profane T-shirts are prohibited.

Everything is fully-accessible.
