This private 3-hour UTV ride-along tour will take you through the land stewardship divisions of the ranch property where you can get up close and intimate with our Native Hawaiian plant restoration sites. Not only will you see many of the famous movie site spots, but youʻll also get a narrated tour, riding along with your guide. Besides seeing the amazing Hakipuʻu and Kaʻaʻawa “Jurassic” Valley, youʻll contribute to revitalizing our Hawaiian forests by planting a vital native tree; the native Koa.

Youʻll ride along with your own guide …and just your party of four, in one of our open-air UTV Raptor vehicles. (Larger party sizes may be able to be accommodated later in the day). During the 3 hours, youʻll learn alot about Kualoaʻs stewardship efforts in restoring native plants throughout our 4000 acre private nature reserve. In addition, youʻll be able to take pictures and see many of the most famous movie site areas … from some of the 200+ Hollywood movies and TV shows filmed here since Elvis in the 1950ʻs! At the end of your tour, youʻll be able to plant and help reforest the beautiful, native koa. Koa wood had many uses for the Hawaiian people … from being used for the canoes, to bowls and platters for food, as well as decorative purposes. It is considered the most prized Hawaiian wood for its amazing grain and colorations.
