All the walls in the area are filled with amazing pieces of art. You can spend a few hours wondering around checking them all out. Located a short drive or bus ride from Waikiki 

The Royal Hawaiian Hotel - The Pink Palace 
Located on the beach in the heart of Waikiki it was built in 1927. The stunning Art Deco building has so many Instagram worthy places to take some stunning photos. Wonder around the grounds & take in the history of the places 

Manoa Falls
This spectacular waterfall is in the valley behind Waikiki. Walking through the jungle to to stunning waterfall. Like other places this is also east to get to from Waikiki. You can drive there in 15 minutes & also get the bus which takes a little longer but it takes you through a beautiful part of Honolulu. 
Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens
You may have seen photos of this beautiful place. Please keep in mind that there are security guards who don't like people getting out of their cars to take photos. Make sure you visit the rest of the grounds as they are also stunning. You can drive there yourself or if you get a private tour guide they can take you there. 
Haleiwa Angel Wings 
These painted angle wings are a popular tourist attraction on Oahu's North Shore. People line up to have their photo taken with the wings behind them. If you're not driving yourself, the tour you do will stop there. 
Tantalus lookout
Located in the mountains behind Honolulu, you will have uninterrupted views of Honolulu, Waikiki & Diamond Head. It is the perfect places to watch the sunset over the water. 
Lanikai Beach
Located on the windward coast of the island. This beach is picture perfect, no filter needed here
